Welcome to the Harley-Davidson Riding Academy.
Whether you're a two-wheeled novice or a seasoned road veteran, we can help you take the ride of your life. Yes. You can ride a Harley-Davidson® motorcycle. It's an attainable dream. There aren't any rules about who can get on a Harley® motorcycle. You can learn the skills. Build the confidence, and discover the feeling that all riders know but can't really put into words. The road is wide open.
A Harley-Davidson® Motorcycle is much more than a machine. It's the places you go. It's the things you see. It's the people you meet. It's a journey. It's an Adventure. It's the timeless, ageless appeal of freedom.
-Willie G. Davidson

Harley-Davidson™ Riding Academy™
Motorcycle Safety Foundation® (MSF) Curriculum.
The Harley-Davidson™ Riding Academy New Rider Course is built on the proven curriculum of the MSF's Basic RiderCourse™ wit additonal elements provided by Harley-Davidson. You begin learning how to start the motorcycle. By the end of it all, you're confidently handling a real Harley-Davidson® Motorcycle.
MSF and Harley-Davidson® Certified Coaches.
Our coaches are certified by the MSF. They've also been specifically trained by the Harley-Davidson® Motor Company to deliver our unique, interactive New Rider Course. You learn the best when you learn from the best.
Get ready to ride. You learn the basics in the classroom. But you spend most of the time practicing on the controlled range, developing the basic maneuvers and skills that make you ready for the road. It doesn't feel like school. It feels like freedom.
Getting Your License.
When you complete the course and / or pass the written test, you'll receive an MSF completion card. With this card, your state may waive the riding test needed to obtain a motorcycle endorsement, and some insurance companies may offer discounts.
